Year 10 Orientation Days – 4th & 5th December

Orientation Program for New Students

Our two-day orientation program for all Year 11 students commencing at Sevenoaks Senior College in 2024 is coming up in a few weeks time!*

Date: Monday 4 December and Tuesday 5 December 2023

Time: 9.00 am – 3.00 pm on both days.

It is important for your child to attend both days of the program to support their smooth transition to the College. Senior School is very different from a regular high school and the orientation program provides your child with the opportunity to prepare for a new environment.  In addition, students will try out the courses they have chosen, meet their teachers and learn how Sevenoaks operates.

Students will make their own way to Sevenoaks Senior College for a 9.00 am start and find their own way home at 3.00 pm.  Trains will not be running to the Cannington Train Station but replacement buses are available. The first day begins with an assembly in the gymnasium at 9.00 am.  Students will be assigned a group number and will be expected to gather in their allocated group.  There will be lists of student names and their group numbers at various points around the College. Teachers will also be there to assist students.

*please note, only students who are enrolled with us for 2024 will be able to attend orientation
