Urban Field Studies

The urban studies fieldwork excursion is the highlight of the Stage 3 Geography course. The excursion involves examining the patterns and processes of the internal morphology of Perth or quite simply, studying human settlements.

Students travelled to various suburbs of Perth including East Perth to examine urban redevelopment; Northbridge which is one of the most dynamic zones of the city; West Perth which was once the most prosperous residential area of Perth and Kings Park where students had a bird’s eye view of the CBD and South Perth.
