Real Life Networking

The Student Guild members have been involved in several fantastic opportunities to meet influential people and learn leadership skills. Four students were given the privilege of listening and asking questions of the 14th Dalai Lama.

It was an amazing experience to hear words of wisdom from one of the world’s leaders. Six Year 12 students were selected to have a VIP lunch at Parliament House with Cannington’s MLA, Mr Bill Johnston. Over a formal three course lunch students talked to Mr Johnston about politics and got an insight into what life is like as a sitting member of parliament.
