On August 7, 13 Sevenoaks Clontarf Academy students participated in a leadership camp in Melbourne. This five night camp was to reward the Aboriginal young men who are on track to receive WACE graduation. Some of the highlights of the trip included Friday night football at the MCG, watching Fremantle play Geelong in Geelong, shopping and sightseeing around the CBD and spending three days in the snow at Mt Buller.
The students also visited Cricket Australia, who are a Clontarf Academy partner. As part of the visit the students did some cultural dancing and presented a PowerPoint on our College and Academy. Overall the trip was very successful and all the students should be commended for the way they
represented Sevenoaks and Clontarf.
