College Ball Update – 22 Feb

Dear parent/carers and students

As you are aware, we have been working hard to ensure that our College Ball goes ahead. Over the last week we have identified that we have the necessary number of student’s double-vaccinated to meet our venue requirements. This is a fantastic result. 

However, we are now faced with further challenges after Friday’s announcement that the State border will reopen on March 3 and the subsequent introduction of new COVID-19 venue restrictions.

We are working with the venue on the implications of the 2sqm rule and what would happen if a 4sqm rule was in place by April 1, our current proposed date.

I am working through the logistics and the potential for disruption with increased COVID cases and would sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding while we finalise the last few details.  

Please know that we are determined to maximise this opportunity for our students and ensure the ball is a success.
