College Ball POSTPONED – New Date July 22

Dear Parent/carers and students

With consideration of the recent WA government announcement regarding additional COVID-19 restrictions, I have had to make the difficult decision to postpone the 2022 College Ball.

Our current date of April 1 seems to fall within the parameters of Stage 2 restrictions and would not only limit the number of students and staff that could attend the Ball to a maximum of 150, but also influences our ability to include guests, dancing, and the buffet service at the event. 

We know our students love this event as it allows for a beautiful evening of celebration and that this cannot be achieved with the present Covid restriction levels which are in place.  We are now at the point where we need to either consider cancelling the Ball altogether or choose to postpone the event to later in the year. 

Students have expressed the importance of the inclusion of this event in their Year 12 experience, so we are rescheduling the College Ball to Friday 22 July.  We are very hopeful that this date will fall in a time with minimal restrictions in place so that our students are able to enjoy this event in the best way possible.  Due dates for payments and permission forms will be adjusted to accommodate this new change of date and more details will be released in coming weeks.
