Recently a group of our Aboriginal young women took part in Bindi Bindi Dreaming. This program shared the cultural knowledge and history of the Nyoongar People as well as how to care for our country. The traditional role of women in the Nyoongar culture was another important aspect of this program and it was discussed with participants. Students were able to view and use some artefacts from the Nyoongar culture such as kangaroo hides and grinding tools.
