During the annual leadership camp, the Student Guild planned an event with the aim of unifying all students at Sevenoaks. They came up with the idea of a fun talent show. The Guild organised themselves into sub-committees and planned the entire event starting with a proposal to be approved by the Principal, advertising, talent scouting and creating and selling tickets to staff and students. The event held on an afternoon after classes at the end of term sold over 100 tickets. Sevenoaks has a wide range of talent from blindfolded keyboard playing, ukulele playing, drumming, singing and contemporary dancing. More than 10 acts performed during the competition. Tendai Muchacha and his hip hop dance earnt the highest points from a judging panel of teachers and students. Congratulations to all the students who performed and the College recognises the effort and organisation that the Student Guild put into making the event a success. The event raised $500 for the students’ chosen charity; Foodbank WA.
