Dear Parent/Caregiver,
With only a short time to go before our College year commences, it is time for us to provide information to help plan for a smooth start to 2025.
Before College Commences
Prior to the start of the school year, you must have purchased your textbooks, personal stationery items and College uniform. Uniform is mandatory for all students. Please refer to pages 3-4 in the Contributions and Charges Handbook for information.
What to do on the First Day
We are so excited to welcome students to the College on Wednesday 5 February for the first school day of 2025.
Our first morning will run as follows:
8:15am | Students to arrive at the College. Please note our pick up and drop off zone is located at the back of the College on Lake Street. There will be no access to the College via vehicle on Sevenoaks Street. Students to move to the main foyer to find their Advocate group number. Alphabetical lists will be made available. |
8:30am | Students to move to the Gym for a whole school assembly. Students will sit with their Advocate teachers. |
8:40am | Whole school assembly. |
9:40am | Students will move to their Advocacy classrooms with their Advocate teacher. All students to receive their 2025 timetable. |
12:05pm | Timetable resumes as normal. |
3:30pm* | End of the first day! *Some students may have a free zone and will finish prior to 3:30pm. |
Please be aware that from Thursday onwards, our normal timetable will resume. This means that every student’s day will look a little different and their start and finish times will vary. Students are not permitted to leave the school grounds during the day until their final timetabled zone. Please take the time to read through your child’s timetable with them carefully to avoid any confusion.
If you or your child has any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are back at school and ready to help with anything you may need.
College Contributions and Charges
An invoice for College Contributions and Charges was sent to you in December last year. An updated statement will be forwarded in March. We offer many payment options including cash, card payment in person or over the phone, direct debit from a credit/debit card (BPOINT) or direct funds transfer to our bank account. These options are all available as a payment plan. The Government also provides significant financial support to help parents with the education of their Year 11 and 12 aged students. Please refer to pages 5-7 of the Contributions and Charges Handbook for more information.
The Front Office staff are available to assist with any queries that you may have. Please do not hesitate to call us on 6235 7200 if you require help with any issues or concerns.
We are looking forward to working with you during 2025.
